What is the Liberty Movement

They are people who believe in the importance of the individual. That everyone should be able to lead their lives as they see fit as long as don’t do harm to others. The best government is the one that governs the least. They believe in civil liberties of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, representative government under the rule of law. They believe in property rights and free markets. They are people for whom the word But… will never follow the words “I believe in Liberty”…

The Liberty Movement represents a mass awakening to the value of individual liberty, and the rejection of the use of force by those who would impose their will at the expense of our Individual Liberty. They believe in individualism, not collectivism, in Free Markets, not Socialism. They believe that the American experiment in self-rule, although imperfect, has been a positive force in the history of humanity.

It is not solely a Libertarian movement although it definitely includes Libertarians and their sub factions, but all in the Liberty Movement accept the Libertarian Non-Aggression Principle, that no one should initiate violence or force against others no matter how altruistic the reason. Peaceful persuasion and voluntary association are the only acceptable means of promoting Liberty. Violation of the Non-Aggression Principle is a demonstration of rejection of the principles of Liberty Movement.
